Another blast from the past in the prehistoric days before my discovery of Photoshop.

I had it in my mind to draw all of the characters from the El Hazard ova. I tried to fit them all in there in this car wreck of a composition, but I still think I missed a couple.

I drew this with Berol Prismacolor markers, and colored pencils. (Heh, by the time I was done, the marker fumes in my studio were so intense, a lit match probably would have blown up my entire house.;p)

The girl who share a face with the protagonist. That cartoon was my first experience with anime/manga's frequently visited androgyny motif. (Not to mention the even more frequently visited yuri motif.)

Who knew that my love of robots would expose me to so much strangeness? :shrug:
